M.S. Johnston Company, Inc.

M.S. Johnston is a mechanical contractor in Hagerstown that handles commercial HVAC, commercial refrigeration, and food service equipment under one roof. Its work covers design and build, installation, and service for offices, retail, hospitality, grocery, restaurants, and cold storage, with ductwork fabricated in its own sheet metal shop. The company is an authorized York dealer and has been in business since 1932.

The company works mainly with building owners, property managers, general contractors, developers, and food service operators, and it offers planned maintenance and mobile refrigeration rental. Its Pennsylvania Avenue campus houses both the HVAC and food service divisions, and the Home Chef Store there sells commercial-grade kitchen equipment and supplies to the public. For an emergency, the company asks customers to call its main number.
