Wound Wellness PLLC

Wound Wellness is a wound care practice in Lake Villa run by nurse practitioners Lindsey Terning and Jessica Mendez. The team treats chronic and complex wounds, including pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, surgical wounds and burns. Treatments include skin substitution placement, UltraMist therapy, Wound VAC therapy, compression treatment, sharp debridement and arterial studies.

Visits can happen at the Lake Villa office or through a mobile team that comes to patients' homes when travel is hard. The practice works with most major insurers, including Medicare and Medicaid, and staff verify coverage before care begins. Spanish is spoken, and the practice is accepting new patients. Office hours are weekdays and Saturday morning.
