I Can Fix This!

I Can Fix This! is a do-it-yourself car repair garage where customers rent bays and tools to work on their own vehicles. The shop says it is Chicago's oldest running do-it-yourself auto repair garage and welcomes everyone from first-time beginners to experienced enthusiasts and tuners. Rideshare drivers with Uber or Lyft are also invited to use it to lower maintenance costs.

Dale, the shop owner, is an ASE-certified mechanic who helps oversee repairs so projects stay on track. The garage is in Gurnee, in the northern suburbs, and is a practical option for anyone who can't legally work on a car in a driveway or parking lot. Mechanics who want to be self-employed but can't afford their own shop space are also invited to get in touch.
