Sunliner Diner

Sunliner Diner is a 1950s-themed breakfast diner with retro newspaper menus, collector cars and a jukebox. Breakfast is served all day, and the menu leans on Belgian waffles, griddled pancakes, eggs Benedict with Creole hollandaise and Gulf shrimp, and country fried steak with eggs. Lunch and dinner bring burgers, sandwiches and hand-spun milkshakes, with candied bacon and fried pickles among the appetizers.

The Gulf Shores location is within walking distance of the beach, and the Sunliner also has diners in Orange Beach and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Cash payments get a 3% discount, and a gift shop sells souvenirs to take home. Any burger can be made with a gluten-free bun, and a plant-based patty is available as a substitute.
