Historic inn with wood-fired grill dining in Groton128 Main Street, Groton, MA
The Groton Inn is a historic inn dating to 1678 with 60 rooms and suites, and its restaurant Forge & Vine cooks over a wood-fired grill with fresh seafood, seasonal produce and locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant also offers a full bar with cocktails, wines and craft beers. The inn was rebuilt after a fire in 2011 and reopened in 2018 with Forge & Vine opening at that time.
The inn hosts private dining, weddings, corporate events and birthday celebrations in two private banquet rooms, and a courtyard with an outdoor fireplace. A rotating art gallery of local artists is displayed on the first floor. The inn is at 128 Main Street in Groton, Massachusetts, within walking distance of the downtown shops and cafes, and trails like the Nashua River Rail Trail are nearby.
