Lochmoor Country Club

Lochmoor Club is a private country club in Detroit with an 18-hole golf course designed by John H. Sweeney and Walter Travis, first opened for play in 1918. Its PGA professionals offer private and group lessons at the long range, short range and putting areas, plus indoor simulator sessions, and the golf shop is recognized as one of the top 100 private golf shops in the world. The club is also known for its junior golf program and its caddie program.

Beyond golf, members use the pool, tennis and pickleball courts, fitness center and athletic center, and the club runs a busy calendar of family gatherings and adults-only events. Weddings, banquets and special events are handled by the catering and special events director. Membership is required, so interested people should contact the club for membership information.
