Crestcoast

Crestcoast is a New Orleans tattoo studio run by Justin, who specializes in realism, portrait and cover-up tattoos. He started as a painter and is self taught, with over 13 years of tattooing experience since 2012. The studio also sells premade designs, procreate brush sets, paintings and e-books online.

Custom artwork is tailored to each client's vision, and cover-ups are a specialty; clients send clear photos of an existing tattoo for a consultation. Tattoos over scars are possible in many cases, though scars from surgery should be at least a year old before they are evaluated. Walk-ins are accepted when availability allows, but appointments are recommended and are the main way the shop works. The studio is on Behrman Highway in the Algiers area of New Orleans.
