Trapped in the Upstate

Trapped in the Upstate runs immersive escape rooms where a team has 60 minutes to solve puzzles and complete objectives. The lineup runs from family-friendly adventures like the Master Illusionist's Parlor and the Witch's Cabin to horror and true-crime stories such as The Butcher and The Legend of Lizzie. Every room is built in-house, and the Greer location was the first, with additional rooms in Spartanburg and Inman.

Every game is private, so your group is never paired with strangers, and you are never actually locked in. The price per person drops as the group grows, and games need at least two players. Reservations are recommended and can be made online. Walk-ins are accommodated only when rooms are already free, and cash payments are not accepted for them. Players under 16 need an adult in the room. The business also hosts birthday parties, team-building sessions, and fundraisers, and gift vouchers can be bought online.
