The Southern Growl

The Southern Growl is a brewery and taproom known for its house beers, which include lagers, pilsners, hazy IPAs, sours and a Belgian tripel, along with cocktails made with fresh ingredients and a selection of meads and wines. Brunch is served on weekends, and the kitchen runs until an hour before the taproom closes.

The taproom is open most days from late morning into the evening, with later hours on Friday and Saturday and closed on Mondays. Pitchers are available for most house beers, and some beers are sold in 16oz cans to go. Call-in takeout orders may not be accepted during peak hours, so calling ahead is worth trying early. The brewery is at 155 North Buncombe Road in Greer.
