Palmetto Distillery makes South Carolina's First Legal Moonshine and Palmetto Whiskey, a craft whiskey aged in new French oak with 21% rye in the mash. This Greer location is a shop inside the Grand Hall at the Greenville-Spartanburg airport, stocking the moonshine and whiskey line along with ready-to-drink cocktails, drinkware, apparel, pantry goods and gift cards. Brothers Bryan and Trey Boggs run the company, which draws on a family moonshine tradition.

The airport shop is open Monday through Saturday, and purchases can be carried on board for travelers passing through. The main distillery is at West Benson Street in Anderson, where free tours are offered to guests over 21 and the shop sells souvenirs and local products. Each jar of moonshine is made by hand in a copper still.
