The story

TYMETAL manufactures security gates and crash-rated barriers for commercial and institutional sites. Its gate line includes cantilever slide gates, vertical lift and pivot gates, industrial swing gates, bi-fold gates and pedestrian gates, and it also builds custom gate designs. Fabrication work includes laser and plasma cutting, CNC machining, robotic welding, sandblasting and industrial coating.

Customers include correctional facilities, airports, military bases, schools, data centers and public utilities. Gates are designed and tested to work together with their operators, and the company offers site planning, specification drawings and technical support from design through installation. Products are made in the USA at its Greenwich, New York facility, with a second location in Pearland, Texas, and some in-stock gates are available for immediate shipment.
