The Altar Spa

The Altar Spa is a day spa offering massages, facials, advanced facial treatments, body treatments, nail services, hair services, and lash, brow and beauty work. Its skincare focus is on clinically backed brands, and the retail shelves carry lines such as Augustinus Bader, Biologique Recherche, iS Clinical and Omorovicza. The spa was named America's Best Day Spa in the USA Today Readers' Choice Awards.

Membership is optional and offers preferred pricing on treatments, members-only retail savings and a monthly member service, though all guests are welcome to book without joining. Gift cards are available. The spa is in downtown Greenville at 130 South Main Street, and it is open most days of the week, with shorter hours on Sunday.
