R.Cappelli

R.Cappelli is a hat studio where customers either choose a ready-made hat or design their own. Hats are reversible, packable and handmade from more than 700 fabrics, and the studio also sells Myra handbags, beaded bags, bowties and matching hat and purse sets. Owner and designer René Hutchisson, a Fashion Institute of Technology graduate with more than 30 years in the fashion industry, designs the custom pieces.

Groups can book an event to come in and design hats together. Custom orders are made in person with René at the studio in The Village of West Greenville, and the shop also takes online orders. The studio is announcing a move to Travelers Rest, SC in November, where it will have about 2,200 square feet.
