Nine-hole municipal course with a water-carry signature par three302 Riverdale Drive, Green Bay, WI

Village Green Golf Course is a nine-hole municipal course run by the Village of Howard. Its signature hole is Hole 5, a par three where the shot has to carry the water in front of the green. Recent work added a new creek and larger ponds on Hole 9, paved paths on several holes, a water fountain on Hole 5, and new drainage across the course.
Tee times can be reserved online, and cart rentals are handled at the pro shop, which typically opens at 8 a.m. in early spring and late fall. Golfers who want to walk nine holes early can do so when there is enough light and no frost on the grass, but they must settle up at the pro shop afterward. The course usually closes for the season near November 1, depending on the weather, and the pro shop may close on days when temperatures stay below 50 degrees. The clubhouse restaurant serves lunch and dinner, with a Friday fish fry from 3 to 8 p.m.
