ViM Berkshires

ViM Berkshires provides free health care to income-qualified people in the region who are ineligible for health insurance. Its staff works alongside more than 70 volunteer medical professionals to offer primary care, dentistry, women's health, optometry and behavioral therapy under one roof. Patients range from newcomer families with significant health needs to veterans who need dental work and essential workers who have lived here for decades.

Care starts with listening, and patients work with staff on individualized plans that address housing, food, employment and childcare alongside their medical concerns. More than 100 community volunteers serve as interpreters, drivers and receptionists. The main office is in Great Barrington, with a second location in Pittsfield.
