Creative Building Solutions

Creative Building Solutions is a design-build firm that does custom homes, additions and renovations in the Berkshires. The company is run by two co-owners, Linda Shafiroff, who leads design and planning, and Sarah Stiner, who manages construction and permits. Their team includes project directors, carpenters, a foreman and a painter and sheetrocker.

The firm takes projects from initial concept through final completion, and it designs homes with an emphasis on green techniques, local materials and sustainability. Clients can follow a project through a web-based dashboard, which helps when they live outside the area. The business is at 82 Maple Ave in Great Barrington.
