Specialized Finishes handles residential and commercial painting, wood finishing, furniture refinishing and antique restoration. Dining tables are a common job, with work ranging from a light refresh to a full strip and restain. The shop also takes on repairs to most furniture and interior and exterior painting for homes and businesses.
Owner Shawn Turner handles every project personally and says the firm uses no subcontractors. The business has served the Western Slope since 1997 and works across Grand Junction, Fruita and Mesa County. Its Grand Junction address is on Clifton Way, and the site notes the high desert climate makes coatings choice especially important there.
