High Desert Tax & Accounting is a family-owned firm with more than 20 years of experience handling personal and business tax work, bookkeeping, payroll, business formation, tax planning and CFO-style advisory work. The firm works with individuals, families and growing businesses, and it also covers tax problems such as IRS audit representation, back taxes owed, payment plans and offers in compromise. QuickBooks setup, training and tune-ups are part of the bookkeeping side.

Most work is done in person at the Grand Avenue office in Grand Junction, though virtual appointments are available. The office keeps seasonal hours, with longer days in the off-peak months and a shorter Monday to Thursday schedule during tax season. New clients can fill out an intake form before their first appointment, and financing is offered for services.
