Baba Small Batch Hummus

Baba Small Batch makes hummus in small batches, along with chickpea flatbreads, pita chips and roasted garbanzo beans. The hummus comes in organic flavors such as classic, cilantro and jalapeño, roasted garlic and artichoke, and harissa, and the recipes draw on old family recipes and Mediterranean spices from owner Moez's childhood in Tunisia.

Products can be ordered online and shipped nationwide, and the hummus is processed under high pressure so it stays fresh without preservatives. The kitchen is on the Pacific coast in Goleta, and the brand also sells at farmers' markets on the Central Coast, where new products often debut first.
