Sushi Sang Lee

Sushi Sang Lee is an omakase restaurant run by chef Sang Hyun Lee, serving a Gloucester and Edomae-style meal built on local seafood such as monkfish liver, mackerel and stone crab, alongside imported items like Hokkaido uni and kinmedai. The signature Classic Omakase is an 18-course meal at an eight-seat counter, and the menu changes with the season and the daily catch.

Reservations are required, and the Classic Omakase is served Thursday through Sunday, with about two hours set aside for the full meal. Dietary accommodations can be arranged with advance notice. The restaurant is moving to Main Street in Gloucester and is under renovation, so for now it runs pop-up dinners around town, including hand roll dinners on Wednesdays and omakase on Sundays. Private events and gift cards are also available, and since the team is small, email is the best way to reach them.
