Preferred Auto Body

Preferred Auto Body is a collision and auto body shop that handles insurance claim repairs as well as vehicle customization and restoration. Founded in 2011 by Steve Lambert and Ralph E. Martin, the shop says it has worked on more than ten thousand vehicles of all makes and ages, from classic and luxury cars to pickups. The shop works with dozens of insurance companies and uses factory parts rather than hammering and filling when a panel needs replacing.

The shop is on Pond Road between Gloucester and Rockport and serves drivers across Cape Ann. Hours are weekdays, with a shorter schedule on Fridays and the shop closed on weekends. Drivers can call or stop in to have a vehicle looked at.
