About The Mill

The story

The Mill is an oyster bar and lounge in South Egremont, in a former mill that chef and owner Terry Moore reopened under the new name. The menu of small plates and entrées includes oysters on the half dozen, foie gras terrine with fig jam, moules-frites, onion soup gratinée, and steak frites with an 8 oz. filet mignon. Burgers, Chicken Parmesan and a classic cioppino are also on the menu.

The lounge is open evenings, Tuesday through Thursday and then Friday and Saturday until later. Tables are first come, first served, and parties of five or more should call ahead for reservations. The restaurant also hosts private events, and those are arranged by phone.
