The Spicery in Our 1895 Home

The Spicery is a historic tearoom in a Victorian house built in 1895, known for lunch and a three-course tea experience. The kitchen makes breads, quiches, desserts and comfort classics from scratch each morning, using founder Martha Campbell's original recipes. Its princess tea parties for children are held on select Sundays in 2026.

Lunch reservations are recommended, especially on Saturdays, and the three-course tea needs a two-day advance booking. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available with notice; vegan and dairy-free teas are not offered. The restaurant also hosts private events such as baby showers, bridal showers and business lunches. The tearoom is on North 59th Avenue in Glendale, Arizona.
