NPL Construction Company

NPL Construction builds, upgrades and restores natural gas distribution and transmission systems for utilities and municipalities. Its work includes main installation, regulator and compressor stations, and horizontal directional drilling under roads, rivers and rail lines. The company also fabricates pipe and compressor station components at its own shops, including one in Greenwood, Mississippi, and operates as part of Centuri.

Most customers are natural gas utilities, industrial energy users and data communications firms, so this is a contractor for large programs rather than a walk-in business. Its National Barricade Company division handles traffic control on job sites, and crews respond to storm damage around the clock. The main office is in Glendale, Arizona.
