Gilford's Golden Guardians Service Animal Training

Gilford's Golden Guardians trains service animals for people with medical alert needs, autism, and PTSD, pairing consultation and one-on-one coaching with each handler. The program uses golden retrievers, Labrador retrievers, standard poodles, and crossbreeds such as golden doodles and labradoodles. Training is fast-paced and community-based, aimed at dogs that can think on their feet and give each person the support they need.

The focus is on building a strong bond between handler and dog, with the goal of more confidence, companionship, and independence. Enrollment is handled through a written contract. The business is at 26 Hoyt Road in Gilford, New Hampshire, and its dogs are often described as helping reduce anxiety for people who love animals.
