NIS

National Industrial Supply, known as NIS, sells and services material handling equipment for industrial customers. The company offers hoists, overhead cranes, slings, chain, wire rope, shackles and fall protection gear, and it also fabricates custom lifting equipment and lift assists. Its load testing and inspection work is built around OSHA, MIOSHA, ASME and ASTM standards, with certifications issued on purchases and scheduled on-site inspections for facilities that need to stay audit-ready.

NIS serves customers in automotive, utilities, rail, construction, waste management and aerospace. Equipment can be dropped off or picked up for in-house testing. An emergency line runs around the clock for crane and hoist breakdowns, while the office keeps weekday business hours. The company is at 17850 E 14 Mile Rd in Fraser, Michigan.
