Car Guys Auto Center

Car Guys Auto Center is an independent auto repair shop that handles everything from oil changes and brake work to suspension, heating and cooling, and computer and electrical diagnostics. The shop says it works on all makes and models, and it lists certified service for a long roster of domestic and import brands including BMW, Ford, Honda, Toyota and Subaru. Owner Robert Newman has said the shop offers customers a choice between OEM, aftermarket, and used or rebuilt parts so they can stay within budget.

The shop moved to a larger 16,000 square foot building on Groesbeck Highway in Fraser, where it previously operated in downtown Mt. Clemens. Repairs carry a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty in most cases, and the shop accepts customers who want a more personal feel than a dealership. Drivers can call ahead to book a repair appointment through the website.
