Cream Pan Bakery

Cream Pan Bakery is known for its strawberry croissants, which it introduced soon after opening in 2002. The menu blends French and Japanese baking, with cream pans (sweet buns filled with light custard), donuts, cakes, Japanese-style sandwiches, hot dogs and curry rice. Many items sell out, so call ahead if you have something specific in mind.

The Fountain Valley shop is open from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day, and bakers start late at night to have fresh product by morning. Takeout and dine-in are both available, and catering orders can include any item from the menu. Cream Pan breads and pastries are also sold at several grocery stores, and the bakery has two other locations in Tustin and Lomita.
