Waste Works

Waste Works is a locally owned residential trash and recycling service that picks up curbside weekly in parts of Allen County. Its core offerings are weekly trash collection with a 96-gallon cart, bi-weekly recycling on the same day, and bulk trash pickup for existing customers. Ryan and Valerie Borchers founded the company after finding local garbage collection options lacking in price and service.

Service is billed monthly, quarterly, or annually, with extra carts available for purchase. Carts must be placed curbside by 5:00 a.m. on the service day. Customers can sign up and pay online through their member account. Service currently covers Fort Wayne neighbors outside city limits and north, northwest, and southwest Allen County, and the company says it is growing, so it is worth checking whether an address is eligible.
