The Friendly Fox

The Friendly Fox is a neighborhood café serving coffee, pastries and breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its seasonal drinks include a s'more mocha and a honey bunny latte, and the pastry case has housemade carrot cake and key lime pie, plus rotating cookies, brownies, muffins and scones. The menu also covers homemade soups, sandwiches and salads, each salad with its own signature dressing. The owners are a family-owned team who live in the Southwood Park neighborhood and buy their coffee from Utopian Coffee.

It works well for a quick business lunch, an afternoon coffee or a glass of wine on the patio. The café is on South Wayne Avenue in Fort Wayne's historic Southwood Park, about ten minutes outside downtown. It is open Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday, and hosts wine dinners and special events, which are announced on social media.
