Colonial Oaks Golf Club is a public golf course in Fort Wayne, founded in 1968 and designed by local golf professional Pat Riley. The course is still owned and operated by the Riley family, and it has mature oak trees, bent grass greens, and a layout just under 6,600 yards that players can walk.
Water hazards and Bogey Creek, which crosses the course ten times in an 18-hole round, are placed to suit players of all skill levels, and there are relatively few bunkers. Tee times and gift cards can be booked online, and the club runs member tournaments, weekly leagues for men, women and couples, and golf outings. Non-play areas are planted with native wildflowers and grasses.
