Hammett's Landscaping & Garden Center

Hammett's is a garden center and landscape supply yard that stocks over 500 varieties of plants, trees and shrubs suited to the New Jersey climate, along with pavers, garden walls, polymeric sand, decorative stone, gravel, and twelve types of mulch and topsoil. The center says about 95 percent of its products are American-made, and it has served the area for 25 years.

The yard sits on more than two acres of outdoor display space on South Main Street (Route 9) in Forked River, and customers can get help from staff with planting questions. Bulk materials like mulch, topsoil, stone and gravel can be delivered same-day or next-day to homes and job sites across Ocean County. Hours shift during holidays and the spring rush, so calling ahead is worth it.
