Comprehensive Physical Therapy

Comprehensive Physical Therapy is an outpatient rehabilitation practice offering both physical and occupational therapy. Husband-and-wife physical therapists Stephen and Suzanne Atcavage opened the first office in 1997, and the practice now includes specialty programs in vestibular and balance rehabilitation, concussion care, lymphedema care, Parkinson's disease programs and pelvic health. Stephen focuses on orthopedic and sports medicine care, including shoulder problems in pitchers and swimmers, while Suzanne concentrates on neurological rehabilitation.

Patients can be seen without a physician referral, since both founders are licensed for direct access. The practice has five offices, with the Forest City location joined by offices in Hawley, Dunmore, Carbondale and Honesdale.
