Snooks Candies & Chocolate Factory

Snooks Candies & Chocolate Factory makes candy from scratch in its Folsom factory, where visitors can watch the candy being made. The shop is known for honeycomb candy, boxed chocolates, truffles, butter brittles, caramel, fudge, rocky road, toffee, handcracked hard candy and sugar-free chocolates. Founder John Snook began selling peanut brittle at the California State Fair in 1966, and the family has been making candy since 1963.

The store and factory sit in Folsom's Historic District near the American River Parkway and Lake Natoma, and it is open seven days a week, with later hours on Friday and Saturday. Products are made without gluten, with the exception of the Dubai chocolate bars. Orders can be placed online, and the business ships its products, though shipping times depend on production.
