Rider's Hobby Shop

Rider's Hobby Shop sells model railroading supplies, radio control cars, trucks, boats, planes and helicopters, plastic and diecast models, games and miniatures, paints and tools, puzzles, art supplies, rockets, kites, metal detectors, telescopes and slot cars. The shop has been serving hobbyists for over 40 years, and its selection covers everything from radio control fans and model builders to model rocket enthusiasts and gamers.

The Flint store opened in 1977 and has been on Linden Road since 1997. A second store on 28th Street SE in Grand Rapids has operated since 1987. Staff members are hobbyists themselves, and if an item isn't on the shelf, the shop will order it as long as the manufacturer makes it. Specials and coupons are posted on the shop's Facebook page.
