Top Dog Obedience School

Top Dog Obedience School trains dogs and their owners in basic obedience, rally and agility, with competition classes for dogs working toward titles. The approach teaches each command without force, then has owners practice getting consistent responses. Common behavior problems are addressed during the question period at the start of each class.

Classes run in six-week sessions, and each session opens with a free orientation on dog behavior and training philosophy that anyone can attend. Doggie daycare is also offered. The training facility on Bartley Road in Flanders is heated and air-conditioned, and the school is owned by Betsy Scapicchio. Someone is on site on weekdays, and callers can leave a message for a return call.
