Beaches Dermatology

Beaches Dermatology is a dermatology practice offering general skin care, skin cancer treatment and cosmetic procedures. Its best-known service is Mohs micrographic surgery, a staged single-visit procedure in which the removal and lab analysis happen while the patient waits, with the surgeon checking all tumor margins before closing the wound. Board-certified dermatologists lead the team, and the practice also offers routine skin exams, mole and cyst removal, laser treatments, chemical peels and injectables.

The Fernandina Beach office at 791 Amelia Island Parkway opened as a new facility and is accepting new patients. Annual skin cancer screenings are offered and are usually covered by insurance. The practice also has offices in Ponte Vedra Beach, Jacksonville and St. Augustine.
