Simlo's Island Cuisine

SimLo's Island Cafe serves Jamaican home cooking, with jerk chicken, oxtails and curry goat as the dishes most people come in for. The food is built on bold island seasoning and is meant to be shared, and the menu reflects the Caribbean flavors the owners grew up with. Simone and Lopez started the idea in a home kitchen, and the cafe opened on April 1, 2022, in Fayetteville under a different first name before settling on SimLo's.

The cafe has two locations, one in Fayetteville and one in Hope Mills, where SimLo's Jerk Hut & Island Store operates. Orders can be placed online through the website for pickup. The owners describe the place as a spot where island flavors meet Southern hospitality, so expect a casual, welcoming room rather than a formal dining experience.
