Mr. Spindle, Inc.

Mr. Spindle makes and sells wood porch and deck parts, including balusters, spindles, porch posts, finials, newel posts, post caps, cedar boards and railings. The company also manufactures custom decking components from samples, photos or drawings, which suits restoration work on historic porches and decks. Both professional contractors and do-it-yourself homeowners buy from the catalog.

Orders are placed by phone or through the website, and the company is family-owned and has operated since 1988. Its plant is in South Fargo, North Dakota, on 98th Avenue South. Customers outside the area have ordered custom spindles for film sets and historic structures, so shipping is part of the business.
