Parks, trails, programs and shelters across Fargo687836 Address 1905 Roger Maris Drive, Fargo, ND

Fargo Parks is the work of the Fargo Park District, which has provided recreation in the city since 1910. The district looks after more than 2,800 acres of parks, trails, complexes, golf courses and a campground along the Red River, and offers over 1,000 programs and more than 70 special events each year. Lindenwood Park, its largest multi-use park, is known for five picnic shelters, a landscaped campground, and bike and kayak rentals.
The district is governed by an elected five-member board. Shelters and the campground take reservations. Lindenwood also has restrooms, two playgrounds including a fully adaptive universal playground, cross-country ski trails, and a kayak launch on the Red River that is fully ADA compliant. A pedestrian bridge connects the park to Moorhead's Gooseberry Park.
