Remake / Remodel

Remake / Remodel handles home repairs, remodeling and handyman work, with a focus on carpentry, custom built-ins, trim work and cabinetry. Fine interior and exterior painting is also part of the lineup, along with general repairs for jobs big and small. The company earlier renovated older houses and built luxury homes until 2012, and today most of its work is improvement projects for existing homeowners, plus some commercial remodeling.

Carlos Villagrez handles most of the day-to-day jobs, and the company offers a free onsite consultation to review a project and its options before work begins. The team answers the phone, shows up when scheduled and leaves the home clean and vacuumed. Emergency weekend service is available by phone, though special rates may apply. The business serves Arlington, McLean and Falls Church, with its office in Falls Church.
