Cat Sitting by Susan

Cat Sitting by Susan provides in-home cat sitting, with feeding, litter box cleaning, medication and plenty of playtime and cuddling for each visit. Visits are at least once a day, and the company does not board cats; for boarding, its site points to a separate cat hotel in Herndon. Sitters are bonded and insured and members of Pet Sitters International.

The business is locally owned and run from Falls Church and serves the Northern Virginia area, but it does not service DC or Maryland. New clients book through the website and must keep a credit card on file, since payments are deducted on the first day of service. Sitters send detailed updates and photos after visits, and there are extra fees for emergency vet trips, overnight visits, and high-rise buildings in congested parts of Arlington.
