Monserate Vineyards & Winery

Monserate Winery makes estate wines from grapes grown on its 116-acre property in Gird Valley, near Fallbrook. The flagship Fedele blend is the bottle most visitors ask about, with smoky notes that give way to cherry and blackberry. The tasting room offers guided tastings, and an Italian-style restaurant is on site.

The land was a public golf course for 56 years before the winery opened to the public in 2024, and it still has old oaks, sycamores and lakes. A courtyard overlooks the vineyard, and an Italian villa by the lake hosts weddings, corporate events and private parties in three event spaces. Live music is offered, and the wine club is free to join. The tasting room is closed on Tuesdays.
