Portugalia Marketplace

Portugalia Marketplace is a Portuguese specialty food grocer that also sells Portuguese home goods. Its shelves stock cured sausages, salt cod, cheeses, olive oil, conservas and tinned fish, sweets, and pastries, along with a wide range of Portuguese wines and spirits. The store has a café with Portuguese baked goods and a prepared foods counter, and it ships non-perishable and perishable orders online.

The shop is on Bedford Street in Fall River and has been run by the founder's two children since the founder, Fernando Benevides, started it more than 30 years ago. Store hours are Monday through Saturday with shorter hours on Sunday, and gift cards are available. Its Artigos section carries fine china, handicrafts, soaps, and home décor.
