Southwest Cristian Care

Southwest Christian Care is a nonprofit that provides hospice care, senior care, respite care for children with different abilities, and spiritual support, all at no cost to the people it serves. Its hospice program began in 1983 and has grown to include a Hope House for children, a day program for seniors, and chaplains who offer faith-centered groups for families.

The hospice inpatient facility sits on fourteen acres in Union City, with a nature trail, a garden of hope and a boardwalk over the wetlands. The organization funds its care through donations, volunteers and grants, and hosts an annual golf tournament, clay shoot and Celebration of Lights each year. Its gift shop is open to visitors, and the campus is wheelchair accessible.
