Rite Choice Plumbing & Heating

Rite Choice Plumbing & Heating handles plumbing, heating, cooling and geothermal work, from furnace tune-ups and ductless systems to geothermal loop design and installation. Owner Mike Swales, a Ferris State graduate holding mechanical and master plumber licenses, leads a team of about 25 employees alongside office manager Julie Adams.

Emergency and after-hours calls are answered around the clock at the main phone line, while the office keeps weekday hours. Financing is available, and the company is an approved Michigan Saves contractor, so customers can look into energy credits and rebates. Staff have background checks, OSHA safety training and lead certification. The main office is in Evart, with additional offices in Saginaw, Canadian Lakes and Traverse City.
