The Wheel Apizza Pub

The Wheel Apizza Pub is a brewpub and pizzeria serving New Haven-style apizza with a thin, charred crust and dough that is naturally leavened and fermented for 48 to 72 hours. The kitchen uses locally grown and milled grains and sources produce, meat, and hops from Oregon farms. Beers are brewed in-house, ranging from West Coast IPAs and Hazy IPAs to Pils, barrel-aged Stouts, and Sours.

The pizza is baked in an electric brick floor oven rather than a coal oven, which the owners chose because of local air quality. The building is a historic brick structure near Skinner's Butte with exposed timbers and large communal tables, and it is a popular spot for family gatherings. Ordering is available online or by phone, and the pub is open daily from noon, closing at 9 PM Sunday through Thursday and 10 PM on Friday and Saturday.
