MECCA

MECCA is a nonprofit that sells secondhand arts and crafts supplies, along with other reusable materials like textiles, jewelry, and one-of-a-kind art pieces. Its work centers on keeping usable materials out of the waste stream and making art supplies affordable. Teachers and educators can take supplies for free from a dedicated section, open to schools, community groups, home schools, churches, and nonprofits.

Workshops, classes, camps and other events for adults and kids are listed in its newsletter and on social media. Donations of unused arts and crafts supplies are welcome Wednesday through Saturday, and financial gifts are also accepted. The shop is on High Street in downtown Eugene, next to 5th Street Market, and is open Tuesday through Sunday.
