Humphrey Retrievers

Humphrey Retrievers breeds Labrador Retrievers for both English and American types, with an emphasis on quality, temperament, soundness and the breed standard. The kennel has operated since 2008 and now also carries the Cold Creek Farms Labradors line, which came from longtime breeders Gretchen and Dennis Hyde. Puppies are AKC registered and come in black, yellow and chocolate, and the breeding dogs are health tested for hips, elbows, eyes, heart and several inherited conditions.

Families interested in a puppy can submit an application through the website, and the kennel also offers a co-ownership program. The story of the kennel starts with Ken's first chocolate Lab in 2006, whose work in the field sparked his interest in waterfowl hunting.
