Emerald People’s Utility District

Emerald People's Utility District, usually called EPUD, is the public electric utility serving customers in and around Eugene, Oregon. The district runs its own board of directors and offers bill payment and budget billing options, payment assistance programs, tree trimming, street light repair, and outage reporting. It also runs energy efficiency work, including home energy surveys, rebates, and renewable energy and solar programs, along with scholarships and a green grant program for community projects.

Customers can pay bills, start or stop service, and check usage through the SmartHub online account. The district's office is on Seavey Loop Road in Eugene, and its website posts outage alerts and public notices, including red flag warnings during fire season.
